A Law Firm Handling Corporate and Technology Matters, a global Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a mid-to-senior level attorney to join their nationally recognized healthcare team.

This position can be based in any of the following offices: New York, Washington, D.C., Century City, Chicago, Dallas, Del Mar, San Diego, San Francisco, Orange County, Houston, or Silicon Valley.

As a core member of our healthcare group, working with the national head of our healthcare group, you will work together with our team of attorneys to provide clients with critical guidance on how to achieve their goals. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to advise some of the most dynamic and innovative healthcare clients in the country in all phases of their transactional businesses primarily focusing on strategic transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, asset and equity acquisition transactions, venture capital and private equity investments and joint venture transactions. You will also assist clients with their corporate and organizational workflow including assisting with formations, capital raises, operational strategy, contract negotiations and other day-to-day corporate matters.

You will join a strong team of partners guiding and overseeing your work, mentoring you in every phase of your practice, and supporting your professional development. Regular career progression and training sessions are key components of our practice. You will learn the ins and outs of healthcare-specific transactions. Our partners in the healthcare group will provide you with substantive training and guidance regarding the critical laws and regulations that apply in healthcare corporate transactions. We will provide you with transactional experience and industry knowledge that can form the basis of your own practice and we will encourage and support your efforts to develop direct client relationships in furtherance of your broader career goals.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • 4-6 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions and/or private equity.
  • Excellent oral communication, writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects, work effectively as a member of a team and communicate directly with clients and third-party advisors regularly.
  • Candidates must be admitted to the bar in the state in which they are applying.
  • Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school is required.
