T-Mobile has an exciting opportunity for an attorney with exceptional analytical and communication skills and a talent for creative problem-solving to provide legal guidance to our dynamic business teams. A successful candidate will be ready to jump into action, working closely with experts across the legal department and business partners to provide practical, strategic legal guidance and design and implement creative, simple solutions to address complex legal and technological challenges.
In this role, you will provide legal support across a range of consumer-facing and commercial initiatives at T-Mobile. You will partner closely with business teams to deliver practical, business-oriented legal guidance in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
What you'll do in your role.
- Advising internal clients on legal issues related to consumer-facing products, experiences, initiatives, services, offers, and communications
- Supporting a variety of internal client groups, for example: Marketing, Consumer, Business-to-Business, Go-to-Market, Communications, Product, and Digital teams.
- Providing legal counseling on a broad range of issues implicating consumer protection laws, advertising and marketing practices, contract interpretation, and regulatory compliance.
- Partnering with business stakeholders to assess legal risk and develop practical, creative solutions that align with business objectives.
- Developing a working knowledge of T-Mobile's products, services, and business operations to effectively support internal clients.
- Collaborating with other members of the Legal team to ensure consistent, practical, high-quality legal advice.
- Exercising sound judgment and operating independently on day-to-day matters while escalating issues appropriately.
- This is an individual contributor role suited for an attorney who enjoys working directly with business, navigating ambiguity, and balancing legal rigor with commercial practicality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to, and good standing with, at least one U.S. state bar.
- 2–4 years of experience as a practicing attorney, including experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with internal business partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting consumer-facing businesses or advising on issues such as, for example, advertising and marketing, consumer protection, privacy, technology, or digital products.
- Background in litigation and/or transactional law.
- Interest in developing broad in-house legal skills and supporting a variety of business functions.
- Base Pay Range: $123,200 - $222,200
- Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
