Description:
An Industry Leader of Workers' Compensation, Casualty Insurance Company has an immediate opening for an attorney in its Office of General Counsel. As a member of the General Counsel's office, this position will assist with any legal task, but will focus primarily on drafting and negotiating agreements and regulatory and licensing matters. In addition, the position will provide litigation support as required.Requirements:
- JD degree and member in good standing with the Pennsylvania or other state bar.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Experience and familiarity with cybersecurity and privacy laws and regulations a plus.
- Experience in insurance or third party claims administration is a plus, particularly workers' compensation and other commercial lines of insurance.
- Excellent interpersonal and writing skills, strong problem-solving capabilities and a clear understanding of the attorney's role as a legal and business advisor.
- Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented, exercise good judgment and balance multiple competing priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in either a self-directed or a collaborative environment.
- Ability to travel as needed.
