The Purpose of Your Role
We seek a highly motivated and recently graduated corporate attorney focusing on employment law, contracts, legal documents/agreements, and corporate law. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional to contribute to our organization's success and build a rewarding career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a strong academic background and relevant internship or legal clerkship experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Employment Law: Address legal aspects of employment issues, including drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and procedures
  • Contract Review and Drafting: Review and draft various contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to business operations
  • Corporate Law: Provide legal guidance on corporate governance, entity registrations in other states, compliance, and regulatory matters, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations
  • Business Recognition: Advice on legal strategies to enhance the company's business recognition and protect intellectual property
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law to provide accurate and up-to-date advice
  • Risk Assessment: Assess and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations, contracts, and employment matters
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide legal support and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Stay Informed: Stay current on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the business, and provide proactive legal guidance
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures

The Skills and Expertise You Have
  • Proficient knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite
  • Must be punctual and maintain excellent attendance
  • Organized, detail-oriented, takes the initiative, and completes job responsibilities independently
  • Multitask, problem-solve, interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrives in a changing work environment, including inside, outside, and loud noise level

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the bar in the state of Utah
  • Strong academic record focusing on corporate law and employment law
  • Relevant internship or legal clerkship experience in business recognition, corporate law, or employment law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
