An American Low-Cost Airline Headquartered in Cottonwood Heights, Utah is hiring- join us!
We are seeking an attorney to join our Seriously Nice™ airline in the role of Associate General Counsel, focusing on labor and employment issues and litigation matters. The Associate General Counsel will play a crucial role in helping Breeze navigate and address various legal challenges that arise in the course of business and airline operations.

Here's what you'll do
  • Partner with People Services and senior leadership to navigate legal and regulatory issues related to employment
  • Develop and implement effective practices, policies, and compliance programs for Breeze Team Members to foster a positive work environment encompassing our Seriously Nice™ values
  • Deliver engaging training sessions to Breeze managers and Team Members on critical legal topics, policies, and best practices
  • Represent Breeze in legal disputes, including tort claims, contract disputes, and other litigation matters
  • Address immigration issues, including in relation to work visas and other immigration compliance issues for non-U.S. Team Members
  • Model the Breeze guest service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction

Here's what you need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications:
  • J.D from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practiced law in Utah
  • 3+ years of employment litigation experience, including managing written discovery and deposition preparation
  • Employment law counseling experience, including with respect to FMLA, EEOC, and ADA compliance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior airline legal experience
  • ERISA Compliance experience
