An East Coast Law Firm is seeking associates with 4-6 years of demonstrated corporate transactional experience to join our growing team given the expansion of our corporate department and our New Jersey office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to do sophisticated and challenging work with close team collaboration to help cultivate their practice.

Ideal candidates will have strong transactional experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, private placements of debt and equity securities, venture capital financing, strategic joint ventures, capital markets, corporate governance, private investment funds, and general middle-market corporate matters. Experience with automotive dealership and franchise law is a plus.

Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of demonstrated corporate transactional experience
  • Excellent technical, professional and client service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and client service skills
  • Team-oriented with an emphasis on collaboration
  • Effective and efficient problem solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively, and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs
  • Member of the New Jersey bar in good standing is required
