Sweat Law PLLC is seeking an experienced Florida Family Law Attorney for a unique six-month contract opportunity.This position is ideal for an attorney seeking flexible, fully remote work and supplemental income while maintaining another practice, professional role, or personal commitments.
About the Opportunity:
The selected attorney will assist with the strategic resolution and wind-down of an existing family law caseload. The primary focus will be moving cases toward settlement and completion through effective case management, client communication, negotiation, and drafting.
This is a project-based engagement with a clearly defined six-month timeline.
Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other family law documents
- Prepare and manage mandatory disclosures
- Draft settlement proposals and facilitate negotiations
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case status and strategy
- Attend mediations as needed
- Maintain organized case files and documentation
- Track time and adhere to established workflows and case milestones
- Work independently to move cases efficiently toward resolution

Compensation:
$30,000 for the six-month project, paid in equal monthly installments of $5,000 per month.
Qualifications:
- Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar
- Strong knowledge of Florida family law procedures
- Experience handling family law matters from inception through settlement
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable managing deadlines and maintaining accountability in a remote environment
