The Compensation and Benefits practice group is seeking an attorney to join the team. Our ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience advising on tax-qualified retirement plans and health and welfare plans, including ERISA compliance, plan design, administration, and related regulatory matters, as well as counseling on benefit plan issues arising in mergers and acquisitions and other transactions. Experience with drafting plan documents and disclosures, compliance testing, IRS and Department of Labor filings and audits, and correction matters is required. Experience with ESOP transactions and ERISA plan asset rules is a plus. Qualified candidates will have excellent academic credentials and superior writing, oral communication and analytical skills. The expected annual pay range for this position is $390,000+. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
