The Los Angeles – Century City office of McGuireWoods seeks an Associate to join its Litigation Department.

Our Los Angeles based team handles a diverse docket of complex commercial litigation matters, including class actions, consumer fraud, unfair competition, and general business disputes. Associates work alongside experienced trial attorneys on high-stakes cases spanning a broad range of industries—including technology, aerospace, food and beverage, apparel, consumer products, entertainment, and financial services. The group offers significant opportunities for early responsibility, direct client interaction, and courtroom experience.

Salary: $260,000-$390,000

Job Requirements:
  • Qualified candidates will have 3-6 years of relevant litigation experience.
  • Experience with complex commercial litigation matters such as class actions, consumer fraud, unfair competition, or business tort claims is preferred.
  • Excellent legal writing and analytical skills are essential; candidates must be able to produce high-quality written work product with minimal supervision.
  • Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with client, business, and legal teams.
  • Must have a strong academic record, excellent writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Willingness and desire to work with innovative technology platforms. Our attorneys leverage Harvey AI to accelerate research, streamline document drafting, and enhance analytical work, allowing associates to focus on higher-value strategic thinking and client engagement.
  • California Bar is required.
