Description:

Walsh, Colucci, Lubeley & Walsh seeks an attorney with at least 3+ years of real estate transactions experience in commercial, industrial, and large scale residential real estate.

The candidate will be expected to:

Draft, negotiate, and advise sellers and purchasers on purchase and sale contracts, joint development agreements, joint venture agreements, reciprocal easement agreements, deeds, and loan documents for commercial, industrial, large-scale residential, and mixed-use projects.
Review and understand impacts of development entitlements, proffers, general development plans, and site plan matters.
Advise clients related to title issues, including review of existing policies, commitments, surveys, recorded easements, agreements, and covenants, and chain of title instruments.
Draft and review closing documents for commercial, industrial, and large scale residential transactions and manage requirements of title companies, escrow agents, and lenders.

Consideration will be given to an attorney with in-house experience for a commercial real estate or large scale residential developer or in general practice with a law firm.

Candidate must be licensed in Virginia or licensed in another state with ability for immediate admission into Virginia.

Base salary is commensurate with experience and can range from $135,000 to $180,000, plus potential performance based mid- and year-end bonuses.
