Job Description:Holland & Knight LLP's Tysons office seeks a litigation associate with 1-3 years of experience to join its nationally recognized Litigation Section. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of government investigations, regulatory enforcement matters, international trade counseling, customs-related disputes, and complex commercial litigation.
The associate will have the opportunity to work on matters before federal district courts and the U.S. Court of International Trade. The position offers substantial client contact, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced trial lawyers on sophisticated domestic and cross-border matters.

Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of litigation experience in a law firm, government agency, or judicial clerkship.
- Excellent academic credentials, research skills, and written and oral advocacy abilities.
- Experience with legal research, motion practice, discovery, and client-facing assignments.
- Strong interest in government investigations, regulatory enforcement matters, and complex litigation.
- International trade, customs, tariff, or related regulatory experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other substantive filings.
- Assist with all phases of discovery, including document review, written discovery, depositions, and witness preparation.
- Support government investigations, regulatory proceedings, and litigation matters.
- Assist with international trade counseling and customs-related advice for domestic and multinational clients.
- Work directly with partners and clients on case strategy, investigations, and dispute resolution.
- Collaborate across practices on matters involving domestic and international business issues.
