An American Law Firm Focusing on Labor & Employment Law is hiring attorneys to defend employment-related class actions and representative actions for our growing practice. Cover letter, resume and two writing samples are requested.The Firm is ranked in the First Tier nationally by U.S. News - Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” in the categories of Labor and Employment Litigation and Employment Law and Labor Law on behalf of Management.
This role will be located in our Sacramento, CA office.
For California, the expected salary range for this position is between $189,000 and $213,000 annually. This is not inclusive of our full range, and actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attorneys will assist in the defense of state and nationwide class actions and California PAGA representative actions involving a broad range of employment-related claims. Attorney will be trained and mentored in class action litigation, complex case handling, law and motion, discovery and depositions.
- Attorneys will represent employers in court, arbitrations, depositions and mediations for employment-related class actions and representative actions.
Skills and Educational Requirements:
- JD from accredited law school, with exceptional academic credentials
- California Bar admission required
- 3 + years of relevant experience
- Class and representative action experience required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Commitment to professionalism, collegiality and teamwork
