About the role:We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with a strong litigation background—especially in personal injury, habitability, torts (e.g., negligence), legal malpractice, and breach of contract—to take on challenging and rewarding work in a collaborative environment.
Please Note: Active California Bar admission is REQUIRED for this position. Admission in Nevada is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all phases of litigation—from case intake through trial and resolution.
- Draft and file high-quality legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct detailed legal research and case analysis using LexisNexis and other tools.
- Handle discovery, depositions, law and motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Advocate for clients in court and during settlement negotiations.
- Maintain open, professional communication with clients, keeping them informed and involved.
- Stay informed on legal developments and evolving case law.
- Manage and organize case files efficiently to ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Current admission to the California State Bar is REQUIRED.
- Admission to the Nevada Bar is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in plaintiff-side litigation or similar field.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Proactive, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to appear in person for court appearances as required.
