The North Dallas office of A Full Service Litigation Law Firm seeks a civil litigation attorney with expertise in various practice areas such as personal injury, product liability, and premises liability. This position requires strong knowledge of current procedural and substantive law, as well as federal and state rules. Must have effective oral and written advocacy skills, negotiation tactics, and the ability to apply analytical skills in addressing complex legal issues. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing for court appearances, depositions, file management from intake to resolution, participation in settlement conferences, research, and client correspondence.

Responsibilities:
  • Case assessment for liability, loss, and damages
  • Manage client reporting, billing, budgeting, and case management requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Drafting and responding to discovery
  • Conducting depositions
  • Exceptional research, writing, and briefing skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local rules
  • Meet or exceed monthly billable hour goals
  • Occasional travel

Qualifications:
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Texas
  • Civil litigation/insurance defense experience preferred
  • Able to work with a team in a collaborative environment or independently
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Must be open to learning
  • Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel

Experience:
Litigation: 1-5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
TX Bar License (Required)
