Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, a global Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a mid-level Capital Markets Associate to join our Corporate Practice Group. This position can be based in any of the following US offices: New York, Del Mar, Chicago, Dallas, Washington, DC.Our capital markets lawyers participate in every stage of capital formation and have been recognized by leading industry guides for their expertise in both equity and debt capital markets transactions. We train our associates and help them grow as lawyers, and part of that training involves early and frequent work directly with clients. Responsibilities and Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- '33 and '34 Act matters
- Capital Markets
- IPOs and Follow-On Offerings
- Private Placement Offerings
- Ongoing SEC Reporting Matters
- Corporate Governance
- Exchange Listing Matters
The Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience advising issuers and underwriters on financing (public and private offerings) and ongoing SEC filing matters
- Confidence managing day-to-day client relationships
- Strong organizational skills and remarkable attention to detail are required
- Operating under time pressures and still acting as a collaborative team player while handling and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines is an essential need for this role
- Candidates must be admitted to the bar in the state in which they are applying

The salary range for this position is $260,000 - $365,000.
