Job Description:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing and drafting legal documents for filing and correspondence
- Drafting pleadings, motions, judgments, and orders
- Communicating with attorneys, court personnel, and clients
- Interviewing and preparing witnesses for court
- Ensuring accuracy and quality of all work product
- Appearing in court on assigned cases
- Managing cases from start to finish
- Performing administrative tasks such as organizing files and pleadings
- Conducting legal research on relevant issues
Qualifications:
Our Ideal Candidate will possess the following:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Texas (required)
- Family law experience preferred, but not required
- Strong litigation, communication, and organizational skills
- Senior Associate positions available for attorneys with five (5) or more years of litigation experience
