Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a 5th-8th year (2018-2021) associate to join our Real Estate Practice Group. This position may be based in any of Foley's U.S. offices. Qualified candidates must have substantial experience in commercial real estate and financing transactions involving properties including mixed-use, office, multi-family, retail assets, hotels, resorts, and other commercial real estate projects. Candidates will have significant experience drafting, negotiating, and managing documents related to real estate and financing transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, licenses, leases, loan agreements, easements, CC&Rs, development-related agreements, and property management agreements, among others. Strong writing, communication, and project management skills are required. Experience in real estate development and joint venture work is preferred.We are seeking a well-rounded, highly motivated associate with strong academic credentials and excellent writing and communication skills. The candidate should expect significant direct interaction with partners and clients and must have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic. Successful candidates will demonstrate sound judgment, the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, and a willingness to mentor and support junior attorneys. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be committed to delivering outstanding client service.
To be considered, candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidates are admitted to practice. Timely admission to the Bar coinciding with the office of hire will be a condition of employment.

In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The expected salary range for this position is between $310,000-$420,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at Foley, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
