Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced plaintiff's personal injury attorney. The successful candidate will be working in our Personal Injury practice handling case files from intake to trial. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of experience and the ability to independently manage cases from start to finish. This person will work very closely with the managing partner and will handle all aspects of litigation from intake to trial or settlement.
Duties:
- Prepare demand packages
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, contracts, briefs, and other necessary filings with precision and clarity.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings as needed.
- Conduct and defend depositions of clients, witnesses and experts
- Represent clients at mediations and arbitrations
- Manage multiple cases efficiently within a fast-paced law office setting while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex legal issues requiring detailed analysis and strategic planning
- Ability and experience as trial counsel for jury trials
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Pennsylvania bar and in good standing.
- Admission to the New Jersey bar is a plus, but not required
- Proven experience or strong interest in plaintiff's personal injury litigation.
- Proficiency with LexisNexis
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents.
- Strong negotiation skills for client representation and dispute resolution.
- Legal drafting expertise combined with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
