Middlesex County based firm seeks an attorney to join our team at our North Brunswick office working with Condominium Associations, Homeowner Associations and Cooperative Associations. Our practice involves general corporate counseling, collections, business litigation, and construction defect litigation.We work very hard to amicably resolve matters prior to litigation, but we do litigate when necessary. Our litigation matters are diverse and could involve neighbor-to-neighbor disputes, insurance coverage issues, employment disputes, civil rights issues in the housing context such as free speech, religion, race, national origin, disability etc., discrimination claims, construction defect, breach of contract, debtor-creditor disputes. YOU WILL NOT BE BORED!
The position requires someone who is able to think critically, learn and apply the law, relate to day-to-day problems and creatively formulate solutions. The ideal candidate will possess common sense and ability to deal with people in real-world situations.
Candidates must be admitted to the New Jersey Bar. New Jersey Chancery and/or Law Division clerkships and/or litigation experience is a plus. An undergraduate business degree is also a plus.
Candidates must be willing and able to drive to locations throughout New Jersey.
