What You'll Do:
As an Attorney, you'll play a key role in client representation and case management. Responsibilities include:
- Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements (e.g., real estate deals, operating agreements, asset purchases)
- Representing clients before town boards, planning/zoning boards, and municipal bodies
- Preparing and reviewing legal documents for clients
- Conducting research on a wide range of legal issues
- Handling court appearances, depositions, and litigation filings
- Closing transactions and managing due diligence
- Overseeing your own caseload
- Participating in networking events and client-focused functions
What We're Looking For:
- J.D. and active license in good standing with the New York State Bar
- Minimum 3 years of legal experience (transactional or litigation); experience with government agencies is a plus
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to learn and grow professionally
- Passion for being local counsel in Suffolk County
