Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with litigation experience (preferred) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is confident in the courtroom, highly organized, able to manage a dynamic caseload from intake through resolution, and someone who is fun to work with!
Responsibilities:
- Handle cases from start to finish
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
- Attend hearings, mediations, trials, arbitrations, and negotiations
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and staff
- Develop case strategy in collaboration with attorneys
- Maintain accurate case files and meet all deadlines
- Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as Westlaw to support case preparation and legal opinions.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Texas (required)
- Litigation experience preferred
- Strong writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
