Midsize McHenry County law firm is seeking an energetic, self-motivated attorney to fill a full-time municipal prosecutor position wherein he or she will prosecute misdemeanor, petty, and ordinance violations in both circuit court and municipal court. The ideal candidate should be familiar with appearing in court, drafting and arguing motions and responses to motions, negotiating pleas, and trying cases. The candidate must be licensed in Illinois, be able to multi-task, enjoy a fast-paced environment and have a least one year of experience in criminal or traffic prosecution or defense and/or civil or criminal jury trial experience. Salary based on experience.
