Job Summary:Nemeroff Law Offices is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team, with 0-5 years experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury. The associate attorney will be responsible for providing legal support, conducting research, drafting legal documents, and assisting senior attorneys in various practice areas. Immediate courtroom experience and deposition taking will be involved. You must have an Illinois law license.
Responsibilities:
- Daily court appearance.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, and motions.
- Assist in case preparation by organizing and maintaining legal files and documents, including taking depositions.
- Represent clients in court proceedings.
- Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of issues within the specified practice areas.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas.
Experience:
- 0-5 years experience.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
- Knowledge of personal injury law is a plus.
- Familiarity with legal drafting techniques and procedures.
- Understanding of general law principles and regulations.
