Job Description:We are a high volume no-fault arbitration and litigation firm serving providers in NEw York and New Jersey. We are seeking an Attorney to join our No-Fault Arbitration practice and assist with related litigation in New York courts. You will handle matters before the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and gain hands-on experience in motion practice, court appearances, and arbitration hearings, with direct mentorship in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Appear at AAA no-fault arbitration hearings
- Handle no-fault litigation matters in New York State courts (including motion practice, conferences, and court appearances as assigned)
- Draft position statements, briefs, motions, and routine legal correspondence
- Review and analyze medical records, bills, and other case documentation
- Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel
- Manage a high-volume caseload with guidance and mentorship from senior attorneys
- Maintain organized case files and meet all deadlines and procedural requirements
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Bar license in good standing (must be admitted in NY)
- At least 2 years of legal experience, including experience in a law office setting
- Litigation experience in New York State courts preferred (e.g., motion practice, conferences, appearances)
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to manage a high-volume caseload
License/Certification:
Certificate of Good Standing with the New York State Bar (Required)
