Description:
Job Summary:Attorney for commercial and civil litigation practice in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Judicial clerkship and/or previous firm experience a plus, but we are willing to train an inexperienced attorney. Partnership opportunity available for the right candidate. Compensation commensurate with experience, etc.
Duties:
- High-quality work is key here, not high volume
- Represent clients in court proceedings, discovery matters, etc.; draft litigation documents such as pleadings, briefs and discovery documents
- Conduct legal research and analysis and collaborate with colleagues on complex legal issues; communicate with clients, court personnel, and other parties involved in litigation cases
Skills:
- This position is for commercial and civil litigation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - quality is key!
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- We will train you if you do not have commercial and civil litigation experience
