Description:

We are seeking an Associate Attorney with experience in removal defense to join our law firm. In this role, you will represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and at USCIS and ICE appearances.

**This position requires working in person at our West New York, NJ office.****

Responsibilities:

Draft briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
Prepare clients for hearings, interviews, and other immigration proceedings.
Represent clients before the Immigration Court, USCIS, and ICE.
Provide legal counsel and develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
Conduct legal research to support case preparation.
Maintain detailed and accurate client records.

Qualifications:

Active bar membership in good standing in New Jersey or another U.S. jurisdiction.
At least one year of experience handling removal defense cases.
Strong legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and maintain organized case files.
Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and support staff to best serve clients.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.

Salary negotiable within the listed range based on experience and qualifications.
