The University of Alabama School of Law seeks to fill one tenured appointment at the Associate Professor or Full Professor rank for the 2026-27 academic year. Qualified candidates with expertise in banking and commercial law will be considered.
Duties will include teaching, conducting scholarly research and publishing the results, engaging in University and external service, and advising students.
Candidates must have outstanding academic credentials, including a J.D. from an accredited law school or an equivalent degree (such as a Ph.D. in a related field). We welcome applications from candidates who approach scholarship from a variety of perspectives and methods.
