An Insurance Defense & Coverage Law Firm is a sophisticated regional law firm conveniently located in White Plains, New York. Our office is within walking distance to Metro-North Train Station and has a parking garage on site.We are currently seeking an Associate to join our Commercial Litigation Practice Group.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three to five years of experience handling complex commercial litigation matters in New York State and Federal Court. General corporate and transactional experience a plus.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in New York State
- The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter, have a strong work ethic be an excellent writer, and have strong organizational skills
- Must be able to handle and assist partners in aspects of litigation in complex commercial, insurance, trademark, employment, products liability, professional liability, and construction claims matters
- Be experienced and comfortable developing litigation strategies, taking depositions, fostering and maintaining client relationships and be a team player, collaborating with colleagues to provide the highest quality service to our clients
- Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
