Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Associate Attorney to join our medical malpractice defense team. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility to work both remotely and from our Uniondale office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage medical malpractice cases from inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Attend court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- 1–3 years of litigation experience preferred; medical malpractice experience a plus.
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
