As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced litigator with 3–7 years of litigation experience to join our team.

Whether your experience is on the plaintiff or defense side, we want driven attorneys who can handle sophisticated litigation, advocate effectively, and contribute to case strategy. Wage and hour or employment law experience is strongly preferred, but we'll consider exceptional litigators with substantial complex litigation backgrounds.

What You'll Do:
  • Advocacy
  • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Prepare for and participate in trials and arbitration hearings with the assigned Partner.
  • Take an active role in developing litigation strategy and preparing clients and witnesses for significant proceedings.
  • Discovery
  • Draft written discovery, deficiency notices, and subpoenas.
  • Assist the legal team in responding to discovery served on clients.
  • Review and analyze documents produced in discovery and identify issues relevant to the claims and defenses.
  • Legal Research & Analysis
  • Work closely with the briefing team to conduct legal research and writing.
  • Analyze applicable laws, precedents, and relevant authorities related to the specific claims and defenses at issue in each case.
  • Apply legal research and analysis to develop and support case strategy.
  • Drafting Legal Documents
  • Prepare or assist in preparing legal pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other litigation documents.
  • Work with Partners and the briefing team to develop clear, persuasive legal arguments and ensure filings accurately reflect the facts, law, and strategy of the case.
  • Settlement Negotiations
  • Engage in settlement negotiations and participate in mediations and formal and informal settlement conferences.
  • Evaluate claims, defenses, damages, litigation risks, and potential resolution strategies and work with the Partners to pursue favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Case Management & Collaboration
  • Proactively manage assigned matters and assist with the management of the docket of active and settled cases.
  • Work closely with Partners, attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff to ensure deadlines are met, case strategy is coordinated, and matters move forward efficiently.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff as appropriate.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar license in good standing.
  • 3–7 years of experience in wage and hour litigation.
  • Significant experience handling depositions and in-court advocacy at hearings.
  • Experience handling evidentiary and legal arguments, as well as direct and cross-examination of witnesses at trial.
  • Experience with trial preparation and presentation and with managing complex or high-stakes litigation.
  • Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to handle complex legal issues with precision and professionalism.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and litigation software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff.
  • Wage and hour or employment litigation experience is strongly preferred.
