The White Plains, New York office is seeking to add an Associate to its Commercial Litigation practice. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, have strong professional judgment, be a problem solver and have a strong work ethic.Educational/Experience Requirements
- JD degree required with New York Bar Admission
- Minimum of 1-3 years of commercial litigation experience
- Research and drafting motions, pleadings, discovery, document review
- Construction Contract review and drafting
- Conducting commercial depositions, court appearances for motions and conferences
- Trial experience a plus
- Interact with clients and opposing counsel
- Excellent legal research, sophisticated writing ability and strong verbal communication are essential
- Proactive, resourceful and ability to work supervised and independently
