Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including but not limited to bankruptcy, estate planning, family law, criminal and civil litigation. Responsibilities:
- Meet with potential clients, understanding their legal issues and how the firm might aid them
- Work with bankruptcy trustees to ensure smooth progression of client cases
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts with precision and clarity.
- Assist clients with bankruptyc, estate planning, landlord-tenant issues, family law and criminal matters.
- Represent clients in negotiations and litigation proceedings across various legal matters.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting practice areas.
- Collaborate with senior attorney on complex cases while managing your own caseload effectively.
- Provide exceptional client service through clear communication and diligent follow-up.
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Arkansas bar.
- Experience or coursework in bankruptcy, estate planning, family law, or litigation is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to advocate for clients effectively.
- Proficiency in legal research
- Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation.
