Job Summary:
Kutak Rock LLP seeks an experienced associate attorney to join the firm's healthcare practice group in its Rogers, AR office. The ideal candidate will have experience in either mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters, or healthcare regulatory matters and an interest in developing his or her skills and knowledge while working closely with experienced partners and the firm's healthcare clients.

Qualifications: Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with large working groups as part of a transaction team
  • Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with partners, associates, and support staff
  • Ability to manage and organize workload, including maintaining communication with partners and staff members
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and tasks simultaneously and to complete tasks efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner
  • Ability to learn new substantive legal topics and factual subject matters as-needed based on the nature of a matter
  • Proficient in legal research methods, including ability to clearly communicate issues, holdings, and reasoning
  • Ability to be mentored and taught remotely by attorneys in other offices
  • Commitment to interacting directly with and achieving the goals of firm clients

Qualifications: Education and Experience
  • Admitted to practice with an active bar license in good standing Arkansas or able to obtain admittance within one year
  • 1-3 years of experience in corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, or regulatory matters
