Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Northwest Office. The Associate Attorney will play a pivotal role in advocating for our clients' rights and delivering outstanding legal services.

The Northwest Office, based in Spokane, focuses on the following practice areas:

This position will be based in Spokane, Washington.

Salary: $100,000-$150,000 annually

Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such skills, experience, and qualification for the role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, taking, and defending depositions, and analyzing complex documents.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and complex motions.
  • Perform legal research.
  • Make court appearances as necessary.
  • Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Washington required
  • At least one year of experience in litigation. Experience as a plaintiff's attorney and/or prosecutorial or criminal defense experience preferred)
  • Detail oriented and organized, be a team player, be reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing a high volume of time-critical projects under tight deadlines.
  • This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
