Goostree Law Group is a family law firm serving clients throughout Kane, DuPage, Kendall, and DeKalb counties. We handle serious, complex domestic relations matters, from contested dissolutions and business valuation disputes to post-decree enforcement and relocation. We are looking for an experienced litigator to join us.The Role:
You will carry your own docket and work directly on active litigation: drafting pleadings and discovery, preparing for and appearing at hearings and trials, and managing client relationships without needing to be pushed. You will have real responsibility from the start and an established, well-regarded firm behind you.
What We're Looking For:
- Five or more years of litigation experience, family law strongly preferred
- A true self-starter who takes ownership of files and sees them through
- Exceptional attention to detail, because in this work the details decide cases
- Strong interpersonal skills and genuine empathy for clients going through some of the hardest moments of their lives
- A strong work ethic and the judgment to know what a matter needs before being told
- This is a demanding practice with high standards. If you are looking for a place to coast, this is not the firm for you. If you take pride in excellent work and owning your outcomes, you will do well here.
Compensation:
Salary ranges from $100,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience, reputation, and the candidate's ability to independently generate new business.
Location:
Primarily on site at our St. Charles office, with occasional opportunities to work from home or from our Wheaton office.
