We are seeking a commercial litigation associate with 3–5 years of experience to join our Chicago office. This role is a strong fit for someone looking to build on a solid foundation of litigation experience while taking on increasingly substantive responsibility in sophisticated matters.This is a hands-on position. Associates are expected to take meaningful ownership of their work—drafting substantive briefs and dispositive motions, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions (with support as needed), preparing witnesses, and working directly with clients. The work is sophisticated, the expectations are high, and the path forward is real for associates who want to grow a practice, not just handle assignments and bill time.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting with strong legal writing and analytical skills, deposition and discovery experience, and comfort owning discrete assignments end-to-end. Candidates must be licensed in Illinois or eligible for admission by examination or waiver.
