About the role:Our rapidly expanding civil litigation firm located in Studio City is looking to hire a full time associate attorney. Responsibilities include responding to and propounding discovery, court appearances, defending depositions, opposing motions, filing complaints and other court documents. You will be getting hands-on experience and work directly with clients. You will have the opportunity to shadow and receive training from other attorneys if necessary.
The right candidate will be punctual, professional, and able to meet strict deadlines.
Our firm focuses mostly on plaintiff's personal injury and tenant's rights cases. If you are looking for a casual office with the opportunity to gain experience handling a case from inception to trial, this is the position for you.
Requirements:
- Active membership with the California State Bar (required).
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Fluency in Spanish preferred, but not required.
- Ability to manage a large volume of cases.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preferred trial experience.
