Description:

A Multidisciplinary, International Law Firm is seeking an Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its insurance and reinsurance group. Candidates can work remotely but must be licensed in the state in which they reside.

This Associate will represent both international and domestic insurers and reinsurers on issues relating to pre-underwriting risk assessments, claim management and coverage opinions for professional liability risks in the U.S. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance coverage, medical malpractice, or mass torts. All candidates must possess the following skillsets:

The ability to present complex liability and coverage issues in well-organized and concise written work product
Trial preparation and courtroom experience, including file responsibility, motion practice, and deposition experience
Experience working with e-discovery software
Exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills
Strong academic credentials
Detail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethic
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
