Description:

Gardner and Stevens, PC, an established law firm in Northern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, with offices in Lititz and Ephrata is seeking an energetic and entrepreneurial Associate Attorney to join our team.

We're not looking for someone who simply wants a job. We're looking for someone who wants to continue to build something with us.

We are seeking an attorney who is motivated to develop professionally, build strong client relationships, become involved in the community, and potentially have an ownership role in the future of the firm if they so chose.

Is This You?
You may be a great fit if you are:
  • Entrepreneurial — you want to develop a practice and are excited by the opportunity to build your own book of business.
  • Independent — you can take ownership of your work and get things done without needing to be constantly directed.
  • Collaborative — you enjoy working with other attorneys and staff and recognize that the best results often come from working together.
  • Driven — you take pride in doing excellent work and want your efforts and success to be recognized and rewarded.
  • Community-minded — you enjoy developing relationships and becoming part of the community in which you practice.
  • Client-focused — you understand that excellent legal representation begins with listening to and understanding the client and giving pragmatic legal solutions.
  • Professional and personable — you can work comfortably with clients, opposing counsel, judges and other professionals.
  • Growth-oriented — you want to continue learning, developing your skills and expanding your role within the firm.
  • We provide the infrastructure, experience, mentorship and support of an established practice, while giving you the opportunity to develop your own professional identity and client relationships.

What we offer:
  • Competitive compensation
  • Retirement plan
  • Paid CLE
  • Paid Pennsylvania Bar dues
  • Paid vacation, sick leave and PTO
  • Mentorship and professional development
  • Flexible work environment
  • Support from an established legal practice
  • Potential path to partnership and ownership

We're Interested in the Person Behind the Resume.

We know that a resume can tell us where you've worked and what you've accomplished. It doesn't necessarily tell us whether you're the person we're looking for.

Character, judgment, initiative, work ethic, personality and the desire to build relationships matter to us.

If you are an attorney who wants to build a practice, become part of a community and ultimately help shape the future of an established law firm, we would like to hear from you.
