Experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Lawyer need to work in a dynamic team environment. This position is for an associate with the experience to work completely independent in a collaborative environment.

We believe in the value of your work and will not micromanage your docket. Those that succeed in this position are independently motivated, self starters, and those that problem solve with little to no need for higher up approval.

Personal injury law firm looking to bring on a new associate. This position will handle a docket from the ground up with an emphasis on litigation and taking matters to trial.

Salary Dependent of Experience with Robust Bonus Structure.

Associate attorney handling own caseload and docket.

Job Description:
  • Plans case development by studying case information, conferring with other attorneys;
  • Research law, utilizing precedent and reasoning
  • Persuasive Writing; writing motions, briefs and appeals
  • Manage cases by monitoring schedules; expediting requirements; obtaining and forwarding information
  • Helps clients by initiating and maintaining contact; preparing clients to answer discovery, keeping clients informed of case status.
  • Support attorneys at trial and hearings, by organizing evidence and exhibits; taking notes; scheduling witnesses; discussions.
  • Strong writing and legal analysis skills
  • Strong Texas litigation experience
  • Technologically/IT intense environment/Must be “tech savvy” with Mac OS and Microsoft Product Suite
  • Position will be required to make Court appearances, attend depositions, draft pleadings and discovery
  • Present Plaintiff for deposition
  • Take/conduct fact witness deposition
  • Issue/answer discovery
  • Expert Deposition experience (taking and presenting)
  • Witness deposition experience (taking and presenting)
  • Pleading preparation experience (Complaints/Petition, Motions, etc.)
  • Brief writing experience
  • Party and third-party discovery experience (preparation and response)
