Job Description:We are seeking an on-site attorney with at least 2 years of personal injury experience and currently admitted to the New Jersey Bar (PA admission a plus). The role involves handling cases from file intake to trial preparation, with guidance from senior attorneys. Superior writing skills are required.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate personal injury claims and provide legal advice.
- Draft, review, and modify legal documents (motions, briefs, discovery, etc.).
- Research case law and gather relevant evidence.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, insurance adjusters, and medical providers.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in hearings and mediations.
- Update case files in our case management system.
- Work on other civil litigation matters as well as workers' compensation (preferred).
Requirements:
- Admitted to the New Jersey Bar (PA admission a plus).
- At least 2 years of experience in personal injury (workers' comp a plus)
- ON-SITE position in Hamilton, NJ.
- Superior writing skills.
- Proficient with common office applications (Word, Outlook, case management systems, etc.)
- Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
