Stark & Stark has a full-time opening for a Personal Injury Litigation Associate in our Hamilton, New Jersey office. The ideal candidate will have excellent legal research and writing skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and be self-directed and detail oriented. Candidates must be able to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for an associate who is highly motivated, hardworking, and eager to develop into an elite trial lawyer. We are looking for someone who is hungry to learn, takes ownership in their work, and is committed to mastering both the written and oral advocacy skills required of a top-tier litigator.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will support personal injury cases with the oversight of other attorneys in the practice. Responsibilities will include handling client intakes, depositions, drafting and responding to pleadings, evaluating the merits of a personal injury claim, ascertaining experts, providing guidance and counsel to the clients through effective communication, medical review, negotiating, settling, litigating cases, and actively preparing cases for trial under the mentorship of experienced trial attorneys. Associates will be expected to approach each case with a trial-ready mindset.

- NJ Bar Admission required
- 1-3 years of experience
- Personal injury experience is a plus
- New Jersey judicial clerkship is a plus
- Fluency in a second language is a plus
