Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented attorney to join our boutique-sized law firm located in Dallas, Texas. As an integral member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys to provide comprehensive estate planning and probate services to our diverse client base.Responsibilities:
- Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and other estate planning documents tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
- Review and analyze existing estate planning documents for accuracy and compliance with current laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategies for minimizing estate taxes.
- Assist clients with beneficiary designations, asset titling, and other aspects of estate administration and trust funding.
- Conduct legal research on complex estate planning issues and stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and advisors to facilitate the estate planning process and ensure client satisfaction.
- Appear and conduct probate hearings with local courts.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission via bar examination or reciprocity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Detail-oriented approach with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Prior experience or internships in estate planning or related practice areas is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.
- Commitment to working alongside the team in-office every day.
- Willingness to put forth the effort to do whatever it takes to ensure clients receive the highest level of service.
