Description:
Responsibilities:- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions
- Assist with case management and preparation for litigation
- Attend client meetings, depositions, and court hearings as needed
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Experience in legal drafting, including contracts and pleadings
- Ability to litigate cases and negotiate settlements
- Proficiency in using legal research databases such as Lexis-Nexis or Westlaw
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
