Virtus Law Group is seeking an associate attorney to represent employees and injured individuals throughout Alabama. We're looking for a strong writer, thoughtful advocate, and dependable teammate who wants meaningful responsibility and direct involvement in litigation.

Our practice focuses on plaintiff-side employment law and personal injury, including workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and serious injury claims.

The Role:
You will work directly with the firm's attorneys and support staff to develop cases and guide clients through the legal process. Responsibilities include:
  • Evaluating potential claims and developing case strategy.
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and EEOC submissions.
  • Conducting legal research and analyzing evidence.
  • Preparing clients and witnesses for depositions and hearings.
  • Taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations, hearings, and trials as experience permits.
  • Keeping clients informed and providing clear, timely answers to their questions.
  • Managing deadlines and coordinating with staff to keep cases moving.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and an active Alabama law license in good standing.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • A professional, empathetic approach to client communication.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • A genuine interest in representing employees and injured people.

Employment law or personal injury litigation experience is preferred, but attorneys with strong writing skills and a demonstrated commitment to plaintiff-side advocacy are encouraged to apply
