Immediate opening for an associate position for a small boutique plaintiff-side civil litigation firm. Applicant must have a demonstrated passion for social justice. Responsibilities:
  • Litigate cases in court and represent clients in legal proceedings
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy
  • Draft discovery, respond to discovery, and engage in motion practice
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar

Preferred Experience:
  • 2-5 years of previous experience working as an associate attorney or in a similar legal role
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal procedures
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
