Description:

Established Northern California Workers' Compensation defense firm seeks an attorney with 1-3 years of experience handling workers' compensation cases. The ideal candidate will be well organized, a self starter, driven, able to work well under pressure and have great interpersonal skills.

Essential Requirements:

1-3 years of Workers' Compensation experience;
Able to analyze and defend all aspect of Workers' Compensation discovery and litigation, including depositions, trials, liens, analysis of liability for medical and indemnity benefits, Labor Code Section 132(a) & Labor Code Section 4553 claims; uninsured employer defense a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Strong negotiating skills.
This position may at times require travel to various venues, including San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Santa Rosa, Sacramento, Lodi and Salinas.
