Polsinelli is seeking law students interested in intellectual property and patent prosecution/litigation in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Kansas City, Los Angeles, and St. Louis to join our 10-week 2027 Summer Associate Program following completion of their second year of law school. Eligible students must be patent bar eligible with an undergraduate degree in science or engineering areas, these can include the following areas: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, biotech/life sciences, etc.Our program is designed to provide substantive legal experience while fostering personal and professional growth. Summer associates will participate in training sessions, networking opportunities, and social events, gaining exposure to the firm's dynamic culture and commitment to excellence. Roles and responsibilities of an IP Summer Associate may include work in many diverse areas that support our client's IP portfolios including but not limited to patent drafting and prosecution, litigation, licensing, opinion work, IPRs, ITC actions, IP portfolio support and strategies, trademarks, copyrights, and support for corporate deal work.
