Description:

A Law Firm in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Attorney to join the firm's Workers' Compensation & Social Security Disability Department.

Candidates must possess initiative; excellent writing, drafting, organizational, communication and client services skills.

Responsibilities:

Manage complex legal matters in helping injured workers navigate the legal landscape.
Draft pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.
Conduct opening and closing statements, cross examination of vocational and medical witnesses and have a thorough familiarity with the record of each case.
Prepare clients for hearing and appear before Administrative Law Judges to advocate on behalf of disabled clients at hearings.
Analyzing cases and address issues.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed in New York State to practice law.
At least ten (2) years of experience performing Workers' Compensation & Social Security Disability matters.
