A Law Firm in Columbia, South Carolina is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Associate (attorney). The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience (judicial clerkships a plus!) and work from our Columbia, SC office. Applicants must be in good standing with the South Carolina Bar Association.We're looking for an associate who:
- Can handle all aspects of defending workers' compensation claims for clients, including insurance companies, risk managers, employer representatives, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers.
- Is proficient in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, trials, appeals, mediations, subrogation, and settlement.
